Rachel Smith Bond’s Custom Gown!

Rachel’s custom gown was created from tea dyed cotton eyelet lace with a lighter ivory underlay for contrast. Over the cotton lace is appliqued vintage lace cutouts. I love the open back design, and the natural waist with A-line shape looks so great on her!

Real Wedding Inspiration: Red, Black & Ruffle Mermaid Gown

Tiffany’s gown was custom made to flatter, using the ruffles from her friend’s 80′s prom dress! We found perfectly matching swiss dot tulle to overlay over textured taffeta to work in the textured lace of the skirt. I love the contrast of the red, black and ivory in her wedding! She is also wearing red heels and a red and black custom feather fascinator with black birdcage netting… a twist on a classic look!

The Eco Silk/Hemp”Aster” gown is perfectly matched with the 1940′s vintage straw hat from ReRuns ($45), Hair and makeup by Becky Weir, Micale Molathaus, an Zholie Stiff (OMG I LOVE HER NAME!!!) of A Shear Thing.

I had the pleasure of designing Nicole (Bodkin) LaPenna’s dress with extra sweet and vintage inspired styling. This Columbia, MO bride wanted a classic gown, but with a high neckline and dramatic open lace back.

When using lace, I love it when the lace element is tied into a few places on the design for cohesiveness. So, we decide to use the lace on the neckline and for the waist accent, as well as on the hem. And it finishes with a sweet satin ribbon and bow in back. Doesn’t she look lovely!?!

Eco Gown Collection: Meet Larkspur

This dress is so sweet it will make your teeth hurt. Larkspur has a gently scooped sweetheart neckline with side rouching and a low V back. The natural waistline is accented with a self-ribbon and mini side ruffle, leading into a modern large folded half bow in back. The A-lien skirt has hidden pockets and asymmetrical ruffled hem with peek-a-boo baby ruffles popping out of the seams. Also pictured with the versatile detachable tie-on ruffle underskirt.

Eco Gown Collection: Meet Cypress

Cypress is classy and fun with a scoop neckline, center V, and rouched waistband. The back dips low and features a surprise open back. The ruffled A-line skirt has hidden side pockets and a detachable (tie on) underskirt to take it from fancy-ceremony-gown to fun-party-frock in a cinch.

Eco Gown Collection: Meet Aster

This one-shouldered beauty is created out of eco hemp/silk and is sure to please the most creative bride. Details include a scooped strapless neckline, low-V back for drama, and a braided one shoulder. The skirt is a full and draped a-line with a voluptuous train and hidden pockets. Optional petal motif on the front and back add whimsical flair.

Brooke and Mike Tuley’s rustic farm wedding in Kansas was so sweet!

Her gown was handmade from an heirloom vintage gown, which has been completely redone to add the sash, bubble hem, straps, and new neck and back lines. She’s also wearing a handmade lace hair flower, the perfect whimsical accent.
